From founder to CEO: company strategy, scaling economics, organisation design, governance, and a board level Series A or exit defense.
8 modules · 48 lessons
Company strategy and defensibility, scaling economics and financial leadership, organisation design and leadership at scale, execution systems and performance, growth stage fundraising and governance, a minor project designing a scaling and operating plan, expansion risk and crisis leadership, and a major project defending a board level strategy and exit.
This is the final stage of the Ucanly Entrepreneurship and Startup Management track, where founders become CEOs. Built for practitioners with a company that has real revenue, a team, and either raised capital or a credible path to it, this program goes deep into company strategy and defensibility, including data moats and AI as genuine competitive advantage, and scaling economics where unit economics that worked at ten customers collapse at ten thousand. You will design organisations and leadership structures for scale, build OKR driven execution systems, and understand growth stage fundraising including advanced term sheets and cap table waterfalls. In your week six minor project, you will design and defend a full scaling and operating plan in front of Ucanly mentors acting as a board. You will also cover expansion into new markets, AI governance in regulated industries, and crisis leadership through pivots, layoffs, and down rounds. You will graduate having defended a board ready company strategy and Series A or exit package in your week twelve major project, with a market thesis, a financial model and waterfall, a defensibility argument, a governance framework, and a live board and investment committee defense.
