a. Information you provide directly

• Name, email address, and password when you register
• Phone number, profile photo, and bio (optional)
• Academic background, skills, work experience, and career goals
• Resume and uploaded documents in Resume Lab
• Messages sent through AI Mentor Chat
• Payment details processed via Razorpay (we do not store card data)

b. Information collected automatically

• IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers
• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Platform
• Enrollment activity, lesson progress, quiz results, and certificate status
• Referral source (how you arrived at the Platform)

c. Information from third parties

• Payment confirmation data from Razorpay (order ID, payment status)
• Authentication tokens if you use third-party OAuth login (where available)

• Provide, maintain, and improve Platform features and services
• Create and manage your account, enrollments, and billing history
• Personalise your career roadmap, AI Mentor responses, and course recommendations
• Process payments and send billing receipts via email
• Send transactional emails (enrollment confirmations, password resets, certificate notifications)
• Send promotional communications (you may unsubscribe at any time)
• Respond to support queries and resolve disputes
• Monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• Comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
• Conduct analytics to understand usage patterns and improve outcomes

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Payment processor: Razorpay receives payment details necessary to process transactions. Razorpay is governed by its own privacy policy.
• Service providers: Email delivery, cloud storage (AWS S3), and analytics tools may process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
• Recruiters: If you apply for a job through the Jobs Marketplace or make your profile discoverable, recruiters on the Platform may view your public profile information.
• Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority.
• Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (such as payment records, which may be kept for up to 7 years under applicable regulations).

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information via your account settings or by contacting us
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
• Objection: Object to processing for direct marketing purposes

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive fields, bcrypt-hashed passwords, rate limiting on authentication endpoints, and role-based access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to enable any multi-factor authentication features when available.
