Psychology and Behavioural Science with Ucanly, Level 1 Beginner, takes you from zero to your first behavioural research study. This is an educational program in psychology and behavioural science. It is not clinical training and it does not qualify anyone to diagnose, counsel, or treat any person. In India, clinical psychology practice requires RCI recognised qualification and registration, and counselling and therapy require appropriate professional training. You will learn how the brain shapes behaviour, cognitive biases and heuristics, and social, personality, and developmental psychology. In your minor project in week six, you will run a complete behavioural observation and survey study, with a research question, an ethically designed instrument, real collected data, basic analysis, and an honest findings report. You will then learn behavioural economics and applied behavioural science at work, before your major project in week eight: a full applied behavioural science project that diagnoses a real world behaviour problem, designs an evidence based intervention, defines how it would be tested, and is presented and defended live to Ucanly mentors.
