"Ucanly PTIP" is the shorthand people use for the Professional Training, Internship & Placement Program 2026. On our own site we use the full name, but if you searched "PTIP", this is the program you mean. In short: it is a three-month program, one month each of mentor-led training, a live-project internship and placement assistance, open to students, fresh graduates, working professionals and career switchers. Applying is free, the fee is shared on selection, and there is no job guarantee.

This guide covers everything published about the program, plus the questions we think you should ask before you commit. You can read the official page here: Professional Training, Internship & Placement Program 2026.

What PTIP is: three months, three jobs

The program is built around a simple idea: three months, three jobs. Each month has one clear purpose, and each one produces something you can show.

Month 1: Professional Training

  • Mentor-led sessions
  • Assignments with mentor review
  • A skill assessment with a written report
  • A rebuild of your resume and LinkedIn profile

Month 2: Internship

  • Live industry projects
  • One-to-one mentorship
  • Written performance reviews
  • Portfolio deliverables

Month 3: Placement Assistance

  • Mock interviews with feedback
  • Portfolio and career guidance
  • Recruiter interactions
  • A final evaluation with certificates

The logic follows the principle Ucanly was founded on: say plainly where you stand, close the distance to what the job needs, then verify that it worked. Month 1 tells you where you stand. Month 2 closes the gap with real work. Month 3 tests it against interviews and recruiters.

Who PTIP is for, and who it is not for

Eligibility, as published:

  • 1st to 4th year students in any stream
  • Fresh graduates
  • Working professionals and career switchers
  • You need a laptop, a stable internet connection, and weekly time set aside for three months
  • No CS degree or prior experience is required

You can combine the program with college or a job. Tell the team how many hours a week you can genuinely give, and plan around that.

It is probably a good fit if you:

  • Want structure and mentor feedback rather than learning alone
  • Need a supervised project and portfolio to talk about in interviews
  • Are switching fields and need a guided way in
  • Can commit consistent weekly time for three months

It is probably not the right fit if you:

  • Are looking for a guaranteed job in exchange for a fee. We do not offer that, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
  • Already have strong projects and could apply directly for roles. In that case, look at the Ucanly jobs page or other openings first.
  • Cannot afford the fee without strain. No program is worth financial stress.
  • Cannot set aside regular time. The value comes from doing the assignments and the project, not from attending.

Our value, in plain words: "We tell you the awkward thing." If the program isn't right for you, you should hear that before you pay. Ask the counsellor directly.

The five certificates and documents

On successful completion, eligible participants receive five documents:

  1. Professional Training Certificate
  2. Internship Completion Certificate
  3. Experience Letter
  4. Letter of Recommendation (performance-based, so it reflects how you actually did)
  5. Skill Assessment and Performance Evaluation Reports

Each document can be verified by QR code at ucanly.io/certificates. That matters because an employer can check it is genuine in seconds.

A candid word on documents: certificates help you get a conversation, but the conversation itself is won by what you can explain and show. Treat the Month 2 portfolio deliverables as the real asset, and the documents as proof that backs them up.

How selection works, step by step

  1. Apply. Free, takes about two minutes, no card needed. You get an application ID and a tracker page.
  2. Aptitude test. About 60 minutes, online. It covers logical reasoning, patterns and basic data interpretation. There is no syllabus, so you cannot cram for it. Note this is separate from the free 15-minute test on our site.
  3. Decision. A person reviews your application, usually within 3 working days, and you get an email either way.
  4. Offer. If selected, you have 7 days to confirm. The offer states the fee, the deposit, EMI options and your personal payment link.
  5. Onboarding. You receive your schedule, mentors and cohort details.

The 2026 cohort has a limited intake. Batch dates are not published on the page, so ask the team for the current timing.

If you want a low-stakes warm-up first, take the free aptitude test: 15 questions in 15 minutes, no login, with your accuracy and time per section and every answer explained. Our guide to the free aptitude test and hire readiness explains what the report tells you.

PTIP fees, refunds and the no-guarantee rule

What is published about money

Here is everything published, without guesswork:

  • Applying is free. No card is needed.
  • The program fee is shared on selection. It appears in your offer, not on the public page.
  • Seat deposit: ₹2,000. It is refundable in full if the cohort does not start on the date in your offer.
  • Balance is due 7 days before the cohort starts.
  • Card EMI is available. Ask your counsellor about options with your bank.
  • Payments go through Razorpay on the official site.

On refunds, refund requests are made within 7 days of purchase. Read the full refund policy before you pay, because it is the document that governs the terms. For a wider view of everything Ucanly charges for, see our pricing and fees explainer.

No job guarantee, and why we say it upfront

The program page states it plainly: no job guarantees. Any final offer depends on your performance, your interviews and employer demand. Our FAQ says the same: we do not offer a guaranteed placement, and outcomes depend on effort, the market and your target role.

We say this early because the alternative, promising placement to close a sale, hurts students. Month 3 gives you mock interviews, guidance and recruiter interactions. It increases your chances. It does not replace your effort or the job market.

If you would like to see where past learners have gone, the alumni page lists learners now at companies such as HCL Software, KPMG, TATA ELXSI, TVS Electronics and Northern Trust, with stories shared with consent. Look at it yourself, and weigh it as examples, not promises.

Questions to ask on the counsellor call

The counsellor call is free. Use it well. Copy these and ask them:

  1. Based on my background, is this program right for me, or should I do something else first?
  2. What is the full fee, and what exactly does it include?
  3. When does the next cohort start, and how many hours a week should I plan for?
  4. What kind of live project will I work on in Month 2, and who reviews it?
  5. What does the Month 3 recruiter interaction involve in practice?
  6. What happens if I fall behind or miss sessions?
  7. Which refund terms apply to me, and where are they written?

Good counsellors welcome these questions. If an answer is vague, ask for it in writing.
