Help a learner take the next step

Ucanly mentors review resumes, guide learners' roadmaps and, once approved, create courses. Make a mentor account and set up your profile.

Three ways to help on Ucanly

Everything here is something the mentor workspace does today.

Review resumes

When a learner asks for a human look at a resume they built in the Resume Lab, the request reaches your workspace.

  • Pick up a pending review from your list and read the resume with its latest score.
  • Write notes on the summary, ATS and clarity, skills alignment and projects.
  • Save your notes and mark the resume as reviewed.

People who explain things well

  • Experience you can point to

Your mentor profile carries your expertise, your years of experience, your current role and links that show your work.
  • Feedback that is specific

A learner needs the next thing to fix on a resume or a roadmap, written plainly, not general praise.
  • Time you choose

You say how many hours a week you can offer when you set up your profile. Nothing else is fixed for you.

From sign-up to your first review

  1. Create a mentor account

Sign up with your email and a password, then confirm the one-time code we send you.
  2. Complete mentor onboarding

Add your expertise area, years of experience, current role, a short bio, key skills, your weekly availability and links to your work.
  3. Request course-creator access

Only if you want to create courses. The Ucanly team reviews each request before anything can be created or published.
  4. Start in your workspace

Open your mentor workspace to see review requests, roadmap feedback requests and the students assigned to you.

Before you apply

Anyone can sign up as a mentor and fill in the mentor profile. The profile asks for your expertise, experience and links to your work, so learners and the Ucanly team can see who is behind a review.

A mentor workspace with pending resume reviews, roadmap feedback requests, the students assigned to you and their recent updates.

You decide. The onboarding form asks for the hours a week you are available, and that is the only commitment it records.

Yes. A mentor account can review and guide straight away, but creating or publishing courses needs course-creator access, which the Ucanly team approves. You can carry on with reviews while a request is pending.

No. The AI Mentor is a chat assistant that learners use any time. Mentors on this page are people who review a learner's work and guide their roadmap.

Write to us from the contact page and the team will reply within one working day.
