Get your learning sponsored

The person who pays does not have to be you. An employer, a parent or guardian, or your college can pay for the Career Toolkit, a course, or a programme’s fee or seat deposit. Here is how to ask, and what to send.

Who can sponsor you

  • Your employer

Many companies pay for learning that helps the work you do now or next.
  • A parent or guardian

Show them what you will learn, what it costs and the refund terms before you pay.
  • Your college or TPO

Placement offices sometimes support training for a group of students before drives.

How it works

  1. Choose what to buy

The Career Toolkit, a course or a programme fee or seat deposit. Note the price shown on the page; it includes GST.
  2. Ask

Copy the template below that fits your sponsor, fill in the brackets and send it.
  3. Pay

Pay from your own account and share the receipt, or let an organisation pay us directly against a quote.
  4. Keep the receipt

Every payment’s receipt is in Plan and billing in your account. You need to sign in to see it.

Letter templates

Replace everything in square brackets. Take the amount from the pricing, course or programme page on the day you send it.
