Shortlist on a test, not just a resume

Screen candidates with a timed aptitude test that runs in full screen, flags what it should, scores every paper automatically and gives you a ranked list to shortlist from.

  • A full-screen, timed test
  • Switches and copying flagged
  • Papers scored automatically
  • A ranked shortlist

From invitation to ranked list

Four steps, and the only thing you do is name the candidates.

  1. We set up the test

On a call we agree the paper, the candidates and the dates, and set up a registration page for them.
  2. Candidates sit it

They register and take the timed test in full screen, on their own devices, inside the window.
  3. Papers are scored automatically

Every submitted paper is marked as soon as it is in. Nothing is hand-checked.
  4. You get a ranked shortlist

We share the ranked results and the accuracy by topic with you, so you know whom to take forward.

What the test enforces and records

These are the rules the test applies today. Nothing here depends on a camera or on software the candidate installs.

  • Full screen throughout

The test runs in full screen. Leaving full screen is flagged on the candidate's attempt.
  • Tab and window switches flagged

Switching to another tab or moving focus away from the test window is recorded.
  • Copy, paste and cut blocked

Clipboard actions are blocked during the test and each attempt is recorded.
  • Right-click blocked

The context menu is blocked and the attempt is recorded.
  • A countdown that submits

A timer runs from the moment the candidate begins and submits the paper when it ends.
  • Repeated violations submit the test

Flags are kept on the attempt. Repeated violations submit it, so the result reflects what was recorded.

Questions about hiring assessments

No. Our team sets up each test with you on a call, so the paper, the candidates and the dates fit what you are hiring for. Send an enquiry and we take it from there.

Answers are saved as the candidate goes, so a refresh resumes where they left off. The clock keeps running while they are away, and the test submits when time runs out.

No. A flag is a record that something happened, such as leaving full screen. It is there for you to weigh with the score, not an automatic verdict, except that repeated violations submit the test.

We send a quote that lists what is included. You can accept it, print it as a PDF for your approvals, and pay online.

Tell us who you want to test.

Send the number of candidates and the dates you have in mind. We call you and agree the rest.
