You applied. Now what?

If you applied on Ucanly and the page still says Submitted, you are not imagining the wait, and you are not being ignored on purpose. Applications are read by people, and some weeks there are more of them than there are hours. This page tells you what each stage means, what is normal, and how to get an answer quickly when it is not.

Programme applications (PTIP 2026)

The Professional Training, Internship & Placement Program has five steps:

  1. Apply. Free, about two minutes, no card. You get an application ID and a tracker page.
  2. Aptitude test. About 60 minutes, online: logical reasoning, patterns and basic data interpretation.
  3. Decision. Usually within 3 working days of the test, by email, whether the answer is yes or no.
  4. Offer. If selected, your offer letter states the fee, the ₹2,000 seat deposit, EMI options and your personal payment link. You have 7 days to confirm.
  5. Onboarding. Schedule, mentors and cohort details.

If more than 3 working days have passed since your test and you have no email, check your spam and Promotions folders first. Then follow up using the message at the end of this article.

Job and internship applications

Job applications go to the hiring team for that role. Unlike the programme, there is no fixed decision window, because each role closes when it is filled. A role that is still listed is still open. If you have not heard back in two weeks, it is fair to ask for a status update, and you deserve a clear yes or no either way.

Some courses start on a fixed date and need admission before lessons unlock. If you paid and your dashboard does not show the course, do not pay again. Send your payment ID (it starts with pay_ on your Razorpay receipt) to support and ask for admission. Keep the receipt.

What you should never be asked to do

  • Pay into a personal bank account or an unfamiliar UPI ID
  • Pay a fee to receive a job offer letter
  • Share an OTP or card PIN over the phone

All Ucanly payments go through Razorpay on ucanly.io or a personal payment link sent from Ucanly. If anything else happens, report it to us before you pay. Our guide on spotting fake job offers covers the warning signs.

The follow up message that gets answered

Email support@ucanly.io or WhatsApp +91 74112 62233 with:

Hi, I applied for [programme or job title] on [date]. My application ID is [ID] and my registered email is [email]. My status still shows [status]. Could you tell me the next step?

One clear message with your ID gets a faster answer than several messages without it. If you paid, add your payment ID.

Why we are publishing this

Some students have told us they waited too long without hearing anything. That feedback is fair, and this page is part of fixing it. If you had a bad experience, tell us at support@ucanly.io with your application ID. We would rather hear it and fix it than have you wonder whether anyone read your application.
