Programme overview

Who this is for

Students and graduates who want to understand security, find weaknesses responsibly and help protect systems.

What you learn

Networking and Linux for security, how common attacks work, reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning, web application security, tools such as Nmap, Wireshark and Burp Suite, and writing a clear security report.

How it runs

Two months on the Self-paced and Live plans: a month of training, then a month on an internship project, ending with your final evaluation and certificates. The Career plan runs for three months and adds a month for a capstone project and career preparation. Every plan has the same lessons, internship project and certificates. The Live plan adds live sessions and doubt-clearing sessions. The Career plan adds the third month, placement assistance, mock interviews with a person, a resume and LinkedIn review and a session with the founding team.

What you finish with

A finished assessment of a practice lab, with findings and the evidence for them. The Career plan's third month adds a capstone: a full security assessment report. Every plan ends with a programme completion certificate and an internship completion certificate. Placement assistance, where your plan includes it, comes with no job guarantee.

Everything is practised on labs built for the purpose. Testing a system you do not own, or have no written permission to test, is illegal, and this programme never asks you to.

Refunds

  • Programme fee: A full refund if you ask before the end of the first week of your cohort, apart from the registration fee, which is not refundable. After the first week, the fee is not refunded.
  • Registration fee: The registration fee holds your seat, counts towards the programme fee and is not refundable once paid. The remaining amount is due within 15 days of registering.
