Programme overview

Who this is for

Biotechnology, life science, pharmacy and chemistry students who want to understand two fast-moving fields.

What you learn

Molecular biology and genetics, recombinant DNA technology, gene editing including CRISPR, an introduction to bioinformatics tools, the science of nanomaterials, nanotechnology in medicine and drug delivery, and ethics and biosafety.

How it runs

Three months, one phase each: training, an internship project, then a capstone project and career preparation. Every plan has the same lessons, projects and certificates. The Live plan adds live sessions and doubt-clearing sessions. The Career plan adds placement assistance, mock interviews with a person, a resume and LinkedIn review and a session with the founding team.

What you finish with

A finished review project on an application of your choice, written up as a scientific report, and a bioinformatics exercise. You also get a programme completion certificate and an internship completion certificate. Placement assistance, where your plan includes it, comes with no job guarantee.

The programme is taught online. There is no wet lab work; the practical work uses online tools and published data.

Refunds

  • Programme fee: A full refund if you ask before the end of the first week of your cohort, apart from the registration fee, which is not refundable. After the first week, the fee is not refunded.
  • Registration fee: The registration fee holds your seat, counts towards the programme fee and is not refundable once paid. The remaining amount is due within 15 days of registering.
